Coveralls (Overalls)

Before using the coveralls, please always check the intended purpose, the used hazardous substances and the duration of work.

The information listed in the directive 89/686/EEC on personal protective equipment will give you important advice. This directive defines three risk categories depending on the areas of application:

Category 1

Simple protective equipment for minor risks.

Category 2

Protective equipment for the prevention of risks wich do not meet category 1 or 3.

Category 3

Complex protective equipment for high risks, for the protection against mortal dangers or serious irreversible damages to health.

In category 3, protection classes were defined in order to make it easier for the user to choose the appropriate coverall for the respective area of application:
